Topmarks in Gaidhlig
Stòrlann Nàiseanta na Gàidhlig have collaborated with Topmarks to translate some of our most popular learning games into Gaelic, making them ideally suited for Gaelic Medium Education. These interactive resources are designed to support language development and numeracy skills in a fun and engaging way.
Place Value Basketball
A fun basketball-themed game using base ten blocks that helps children understand what each digit represents in two- or three-digit numbers.
Ordering with Burras
A flexible game for ordering and sequencing numbers. It covers a wide range of levels, such as putting the first five numbers and numbers up to 1000 in order, both forwards and backwards, as well as working with negative numbers and decimals. The sequencing levels include multiples and counting in steps of up to ten.
Shape Monsters
A fun first look at 2D shapes for young children. They must feed the monsters with the correct shapes, and then the monsters say the name of the shape they have eaten. The shapes are circle, rectangle, square, and triangle.
Measuring in centimetres
A measuring game that helps children learn how to use a centimetre ruler. They measure different objects against the ruler. There are two levels – measurements using whole numbers, and measurements using half-centimetres with decimal notation.
